Community

Ryan has been extremely involved in the community since moving back to Charleston in 2007. Ryan has been involved with Generation Charleston since 2008 serving on its Executive Team for four years and serving as Co-Chair of the organization in 2011. In 2010, Ryan received the Regional All Star award from Generation West Virginia due to his service to Generation Charleston and Generation West Virginia. Ryan is currently serving as the President of the East End Community Association and has been on the East End Community Association Board since 2008. Ryan has served on the Kid’s Chance Board since 2011. Ryan also served on the Vision 2030 Advisory Board and is currently serving on the Imagine Charleston (City Plan) Advisory Board. Ryan also serves as the chair of the policy committee of the Charleston Area Alliance’s Kanawha Converts initiative aimed at the promotion of converting fleets to natural gas vehicles.
